Nope. Going theory is that was the model, but that's more to do with the rifling and caliber of the bullet. I'd tell you where it is, but obviously that would be a much bigger spoiler, so I'll just say it won't become an issue until very late in the game, and there's no risk of selling it.

Pretty sure you and Kim specifically clarify that it would check out as the murder weapon in terms of the type of gun it is, but the gun is all rusted and broken so there's no way the specific gun you have could've been used a week ago.

Then your logbook updates that quest to say "Find a WORKING murder weapon" or something like that
