Mirror Mirror, on the wall. I Don’t Know What I Look Like at All.

So I have noticed that, st the very beginning of the game you are able to bypass the mirror in the bathroom. I am still rather early, but I must know. Does doing this have any real effects on the game?

Does not look like it. All psychologic, metaphorical, and artistic.

No. You'll get additional dialogue and white skill check regarding your smile, but other than that, no. Except of course, you'll have to look at your 3-days-drunk face for 60 hours. So that's the effect.

You will get a bit of dialogue later on about how you don't know what you look like, but it won't severely inconvenience you

Ah, okay neat. Thanks folks. I thought I was on to something with the whole not knowing what I look like and also not literally knowing the concept of anything at all. Like the detective is some kind of non native entity or something, like a big extra path or ending that can be easily aborted in the first 10 minutes by mistake.

I'm pretty sure it unlocks one of the thoughts later on if you don't see your face

If you do look in the mirror and realize you look like absolute garbage, later on when you unlock the 2nd hideout you can shave and look like a slightly smaller pile of garbage.

Still no in-game effect, as far as I know.
