Can't inspect lorry cabin
I need help.I found out who might be smuggling drugs and it says I should inspect a lorry cabin near the monument, but the only cabin I can interact with doesn't give me any options to try to open it or etc and the quest won't move forward...am I missing something? It's pretty annoying cause I can't ask Joyce for information without looking into the drug trade...

Thanks!

There's two lorry's you can interact with, if I remember correctly. One is close to the people shouting in front of the gate, and that's not the one. You can only look into that one. The other is by the square off to the corner, and that one you can open.

Do you mean the green one near the statue? I can't open that one either....Maybe I don't have the right skills.

Someone in the area has the key, if you talked to all the lorrey drivers, keep following their accusations as whose to blame. Don't be afraid to be mean about it.

I had a problem that quest as well, but it wasn't with getting the key, it was figuring out one of the people I hadn't talked to in the area was also a lorrey driver. Also one driver has nothing to do with this quest. I'll give you that hint.

I'm not even sure other than being mean to get the key, there's even another way to open the lorrey. (No option to physically force it open and no other dialogue with NPCs in the starting area)

If you're still having problems I can just spoil it for you. Below is the walkthrough.

The racist Lorry driver outside Frittters next to the newspaper stand will accuse the Lorry driver whose selling random clothes near the bridge to the south, accuse him and he'll say it was a female, but it's not the only female driver in the area. Talk to the "hip" lorry driver closest to the entrance to the Hostel and press him for information, he'll admit he knows her but doesn't want you to press him for info. Force him to tell you and he'll give you the key. I definitely suggest investigating everything inside the lorry btw no matter how mundane.

Oh, I see, I chose not to interrogate the hip lorry driver who seemed to like the smuggler, because the text kind of imply he would hate me if I asked him. I now don't have the option to ask him anything about it. Missed opportunity there, I guess there must be another way or they just don't let you know when you failed a quest, etc. Oh well, there's always another playthrough Thanks for the help though!

Just hit this snag, looks like it's a bug, apparently you're supposed to be able to break in with the prybar once you have location of the cabin, but if you get to a certain point with the poet and then get the location off the racist, you only get the inspect options and you can't go back and get the keys from the poet.

Unfortunately I've sunk way more hours into the game since I got to that point, so no going back to an earlier save, I was hoping something would happen that would change what I could do there but no. The jam mystery felt like an important side thing tied into the main thing, kind of kills my enthusiasm that I can't do it.

Does seem like it's a bug, not sure what triggers it. You don't normally have to force the poet to tell you anything, catching the racist guy in a lie after he points you at Siiieng is usually enough.

Have you talked to the old woman to the right of the statue?

Its likely you completed the part of the quest that required you to investigate the drugs. This means you already have access to the conversation options that the investigation rewards you with her. The dialogue trees may be grayed out but go through all of them (I don't recall specifics) and see if you can get the information which was the whole point. This happened to me and I felt super dumb. (It is still a bit of a bug but not really considering the reason for quest)

Oh my god, I think this is my issue... I too feel dumb.

Will try again tonight, thanks.

When you say to exhaust the dialogue trees, do you mean with Joyce? This is also an issue i've encountered that's made me unable to finish the Jam Mystery task. When you inspect the lorry for the first time after obtaining the location from the racist driver and not the poet, there's supposed to be a third option other than looking into the window or checking the handle where you can ask Kim his opinion on the situation, which is what unlocks the option to smash the window with a bar. Unfortunately this third option didn't show up for me at all, whether on my first check or my subsequent ones. My fear is that the check to trigger the third option might only be supposed to show up the first time you inspect the lorry and now that i've inspected it after that the check won't show up at all, no matter what. Hopefully this bug gets fixed soon - its the only thing preventing me from progressing.

Got stuck at exactly the same point - I threathened the racist driver for an info about green lorry, but can't interact with it other than checking the door and window - I don't get any interaction from Kim. Also dialogue options for getting the key from Tommy the other lorry driver are now missing. Is this quest critical for progressing the story - if so I will stop playing until this bug get fixed.

I figured this out. I guess what bugged out the quest for me was the fact that when I met Joyce for the first time I didn't have my badge, so I accepted the quest about drug trafficing. When I talked to her again after I found my badge, she explicitly sad that it doesn't change anything and i still have to finish the quest I accepted, but it's acctualy not true - dialogue options for proceeding with main story line opened up, and "The Jam Mystery" quest got broken. So as allthingsind already said, if you got stuck just try all the dialogue options with Joyce again, and it should work out.

Guys

I was with the same problem, stucked as you all. But I've come to end this quest with success!

After exhausting all my dialogues with the three drivers without success, not being able to obtain the key, not being able to confirm that Sillleng was a woman and I was not able to access the abandoned lorry, I was stuck.

The solution was to present Joyce with her badge! Talking to her after the badge demonstration, she will explain the whole situation to you in detail, and the mission will be completed successfully.

Smart to have helped.

Greetings from Brazil!
