It's not a frame rate issue as it never dips below 120fps but when the character is moving, the screen movement is not smooth at all.
Not sure about yourself but for me, the camera zoom is silky smooth. It's the panning as you move around that's jittery.
Yep, zooming is smooth, just panning as you move is the issue. It's annoying, but I've just set one of my monitors to 60Hz, that seems to have solved the issue. Don't think this game is optimized well for high refresh rates.
bummer
Using R5 2600 + RX 5700, game installed on SSD.
I'm guessing that it is some kind of streaming /loading issue.
Damn, now that I ran outside I have noticed it aswell. Hope they will fix this with future optimisations. It is barely noticable while walking but quite intensive when running.
Also have the game on a NVME SSD, 6700K, 1080TI, 16 GB DDR4 2666
same issue. 144hz 4k g-sync
after I disabled anti-aliasing, it curiously seemed to be a bit better.
(I got a monster of a system so the game shouldn't strain anything)
Done and linked this thread.
Recommend someone else does the same, more log files and configs they have, the better.
Thanks for letting the devs know. Hopefully they get it fixed soon!
I am playing on plasma TV with 60hz and immediately noticed stuttery camera despite running at stable 60fps with vsync (enforced since game is borderless windowed).
After some googling I tried switching my windows to 50hz and enforcing 50fps limit on Disco and voila, the camera is smooth as a butter.
Utterly appaling that this never got fixed, neither in FInal cut or any of the numerous patches. Game is borderline broken and nobody from dev team notices it I guess.
