Funny how people think indie studio are not entitled to price games the way they want. like indie is synomin of low-cost...
This is just sad. i have been playing indie games worth 50 to 60usd imho. With support and free updates by devs lasting years...

Noted. But being that this has been or currently still is sitting at the top of the Steam best seller's list it's a bit of a moot complaint that will likely fall on deaf ears, since the majority of everyone else here seems to think it's fine as is.

You have to remember these types of games attract a bit of a niche audience, we're the type of people who have been starved for this type of old school Planescape style Crpg that rarely comes around anymore these days; the types who happily fund Kickstarter or indies to the tune of 100+ dollars to show our support and admiration that we are being catered to for once in a blue moon etc.

Absolutely no-one here is stopping you for waiting for a sale. Black Friday and Christmas is pretty soon if you want to wait.

Yep, we're paying the AUD luxury tax. $56 is a little rough. Would be nice if developers didn't stick to straight AU$-US$ exchange rates and cut us some slack. The economy here is a little rough.

This game is honestly not made to appeal to the mass market, it's made to appeal to a niche of players. As such they have to charge more money for it to make a decent profit.

That's is just a fact of life, if you make a quirky game that won't be liked by the majority you have to charge more per person or it can't be made.

I really don't understand these kinds of posts. It's like Valve doesn't have a sale every couple of months. Aside from the store wide sales, devs are putting their games up for sale individually all the time. If the price is too high, just wait.

It's 39.99€ in Europe and frankly well worth the money for me. But to each his/her own.I can understand that people might find this price steep. There will be sales and discounts.

And this is precisely why the only way to do something in this economy is to vote with your wallet rather than grumble at the developer - because even if you do, there are others who don't care for your "concerns".

"I don't want to pay this price because you didn't put enough hype into the product" or similar buying-into-hype logics are exactly the problem. Not that they didn't try, All that talk about "unprecedented and groundbreaking" is a real turn-off....but, still seems worth the buy after a couple hours, even if it's neither unprecedented nor groundbreaking.

Are you lost friend? This is not CSGO or Dota 2 forum. This is a cRPG with heavy focus on story, characters and choices.. This is not what you want (yes I am judging this from your games list and hours put into games) Why are you here?

I would pay 100 euro for this, I think its worth it. So far it lives up to the hype I had about it and remind me of a age, where games actually had quality to them.. But as I said.. to each his own, maybe you are more of a good shoot people in the face mp style guy.. Then do that.

I am surprised that your goverment even allows this game, they ban things left and right in gaming, they jack up prices (tax) etc.. What will happen once they learn you can Punch a kid in the face or some of the worse stuff... This clearly is no game for you, so why bother?
