Eclipse: Obliterate?

Is it possible to obliterate in Eclipse at all, or do you have to beat the game? I looped to the 9th stage and I never saw a Celestial Portal during Eclipse 1 as an Acrid. Will obliteration ever be an option, or do I always have to beat the game? I didn't want to beat the final boss without my friend yet, so I've been trying to avoid fighting him until then. 😔

have not tried Eclipse yet, but on the 5th stage (right before the final stage) you need to toggle the side of the teleporter to loop. had to look it up myself, wish there was more info to tell players they could toggle the last teleport

yee, I looped back to the planet and then died on the 4th stage of 2nd loop. I'd complain about the teleporter info but I have no right to, since I looked up all of the artifact patterns 😔

I've already spoiled a bit of the boss for myself (knowing what the last phase of the boss does) and I'm scared to do it, but hopefully I'll beat him 😅

That'd be nice! I've only done two Eclipse runs so far and I'm not that great at RoR2 (most of the time I just take the easy way out and use Command-only...)

Celestial portal does not appear in eclipse runs, you have to beat Mithrix.
So far I've only beaten it with Artificer since she cheeses the boss hard. Hardlight (triple shift) trivialized it further.

you can't, the only way to finish eclipse is fight mithrix
same applies to voidling, you can't fight him
