Does no one play multiplayer?

Or will i find more games if i buy the DLC, all i have is the base game but i dont want to buy the DLC if no one plays with randoms.

You can find multiplayer matches, just turn off crossplay because it limits you to lobbies that have crossplay on, most people play with it off.
Edit: as for the DLC, it has nothing to do with finding multiplayer matches.

I know but when i search for a game there is only two lol i even turned off crossplay and it didnt change anything so it seems everyone plays solo or with friends only.

I imagine the looting system turned off a lot of people because it is a really good game and should have more players. Having said that when I play it I do it solo offline.

Not true, cause people dont wanna use the Cross-play feature, so those that has it active will not see others that does not want Epic's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Cross-play.

Cross-play has not worked for years because of Epic, and not because of Gearbox or Hopoo.
There is still likely alot of people who plays it, but not via Cross-play.

The day they fix cross-play so that Epic can ♥♥♥♥ off is the day everyone can play it properly

the big update that dropped with the dlc completely broke multiplayer, even if they fixed it completely, its hard to regain the trust of players and for them to come back

Nope, even with it turned off there's basically no one and a bunch of empty dedicated servers.

i also think the way MP is set up plays a part. having to sit out the whole floor with no chance to even get loot to prep you for next floor? rough
