If you're talking about the Void Fields, then it's a good idea to get some reliable form of healing (Bustling Fungus, Leeching Seed, etc.) before entering to survive the void fog. Movement speed is also important to dodge some enemies and to make it through the void fog unscathed. You can go there anytime you want, so wait until you feel you have enough good items or confidence before you go in. You can even loop if you need to, although this may make it harder in some circumstances. The wiki page for it also contains some tips. Luck is, sadly, a very real factor in surviving the Void Fields, so keep that in mind. Hope this helps.

loop one more time and kill it in a couple of seconds
Edit: oh you mean void fields, yeah, jump in it after a loop or two and you probably can't be touched

before entering void fields, grab shadowfade + corpsebloom.
inside void fields, try to use shadowfade whatever you get into dangerous situations, or use it to heal up lost health (in fact, shadowfade even allows to survive void reaver's implosion, making it a perfect pick for going into deep void)

Have 10 tougher times or more before you enter and it's literally not a challenge

i dont know how many years its been since you've been to void fields, but ever since the DLC launched, tougher times no longer blocks the void fog.
planula and armor plate also no longer interact with it.

Bustling fungus and medkit increase your survivability greatly in the void fields. With medkit, dipping in and out of the void cell's radius will proc the heal each time and you can get a full heal between cells without wasting nearly as much time. Also, it's important to note that almost any enemy can spawn and the enemies can be handed almost any item. As a result, some incredibly disadvantageous scenarios can occur. Depending on your survivor, enemies having 5 repulsion armor plates can be *crippling* to your dps. 5 stacks of tougher times can be scary to deal with as well. Enemies are also capable of getting kjaro/runald's bands. In situations where the void fields get too dangerous, it's good to know when to bail out, which makes looting the surrounding area on the void fields map safest to do early on if you don't want an item deficit later into your run.

Tonic kinda overrated ngl
It's better to get leech or fruit with corpsebloom

i personally think tonic provides a great suite of benefits, but its the fact that it mucks with the camera and tints it that i never use it.

but i mean i main melee acrid so that +300% HP Regen makes bite heal 20% of my HP instead of just 5% so its clear why id say its great.

the only thing i like from it is FOV boost. like seriously, the only working fov boost mod i found requires to be installed both by host and client, which is an L for it's dev
