Can't Activate Artifact of Evolution Trial
I've tried multiple times to do the artifact of evolution code, everytime I've done it, it's instead brought me to the artifact of metamorphosis instead. Tried it top diamonds, middle squares, bottom circles; that brings me to metamorphosis. Did that same code but diamonds on the left side instead. Same thing. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

The codes have a little "arrow" on the stone to indicate the direction ;)

This don't help bud. Yes I entered it sideways because doing it the way it says to brought me to metamorphosis, I did the metamorphosis says to input it, and that did the same thing. If I imputed the code wrong despite looking it all up and checking, please tell me.

You misunderstand, i did checked the code, it didn't work. I looked the ♥♥♥♥ up it didn't work. Two different codes brought me to the same artifact.

The code is on the twisted scavenger's body right side up.

But then what did I do wrong? I did that code. I know I have. I thought maybe the first time I did it wrong, but everytime I enter it it brings me to metamorphosis. Is it a bug?

Sorry, was at work. If you are getting metamorphosis, then you need to rotate it right 90 degrees. They have the same pattern, but one is the rotation of the other.

Okay, I hear you... BUT. I did two different codes, both the one for metamorphosis, and the one for Evolution brought me to metamorphosis. Unless all the code orientations when you look up the code are wrong and the whole right side has to be diamonds and then middle column squares left column circles. I'm sure somehow the game is bugged out at this point.

If you look closely here, the code has fallen over, 90 degrees to the right. There is an arrow on the right, which indicates the top.

The codes are not always in the levels the right way up. Someone mentioned this in a previous comment. You were meant to notice this fact. The arrow faces the portal when entering them.

I have checked multiple times at this point the orientation. So I can only guess my game is glitched. The code on the scavenger is upright, that's how the code is said to be entered everywhere I find it online. But it brings me to metamorphosis instead.
