Lunar Coins
The lunar coin edit method isn't working for me, I use notepad and change the amount and save it but when the game loads up it gets edited back to 0. Anyone know a fix?

I just use the NoLunarCost mod. I don't really find lunar coin farming enjoyable.
I assumed mods didn't work yet as I was on a perm loading screen
Mods work fine for me. r2api got updated and most of my other mods have as well.
Figured it out, I believe it was one of my character mods
I know a lot of people do infinite lunar coins, i've never done it. IMO, having infinite lunar coins makes the game pretty pointless as every single run is likely to be a god run, no matter the difficulty, having infinite lunar coins means infinite GotD, which means easy mode. infinite lunar coins overrated, literally lowers the replay-ability of the game.

Cheers though! :D hope your week is going well so far.

...no one asked your opinion? Don't like infinite coins? Good for you. No need to even be in this thread. Base game works for you.

Imagine throwing a tantrum because someone said something you do not want to hear, though I suppose no more can be expected from someone who can't live with a limited resource in a video game either :latch:
Get Eulogy Zero. That way you can get a ton of lunars without using more than 5 coins.

Suppose you stop posting in a public forum, then you can whine about who responds. Oh, wait, if it was private, nobody else would be speaking.

That's fair, I don't really use it for that though, it would be no different from just opening up the dev console. I just like using the pools that newt offers as it's my main source of red early on.

Going to be honest, there bud. Modifying game files or Ram editing is against valve TOS. And base game is the only one you should play...Editing lunar coins is a "non-config game-file" and can land you a fat ass VAC on your face. This game is a VAC secured game.

I've literally used cheat engine to play as a Beetle.

It literally isn't and spouting misinformation in a pathetic attempt to deter someone from editing their anti cheatless game is laughable.
