Some twisted scavengers are just evil
I've been playing around with artifact of command and made some pretty OP runs where i one shot every single enemy. Every run i get royal capacitor and 12 or so fuel cells or permanent use. But 2 of the times ive got them, and got to the scavengers, they have some kind of mechanic that makes them unkillable.

The first one literally didnt take damage at all. Had massive attacks speed and damage, didnt do damage. Spammed royal capatior as fast as i could, no damage.

Second there was this guy that just healed his HP to full every single time he took any damage. Could get him to half HP with crowbars and capacitor but then he took no more damage and got full heal.

This makes me wonder...How the hell are these guys suposed to be beaten in a normal game without the absolute cheat called artifact of command? If you cant even beat them when you do have it?

They scale with time, HARD. Harder than any other monster or boss in the game. If you've wasted much time or looped more than once without a god run, you're going to be fighting them for a while.

Ohhhhh didnt know that. Yeah they took some time (around an hour maybe each), made sure to take all chests.

One of them was made before a rework of the medkits, and has like 40 of the things. I think they do a percentage heal now and whenever it takes damage it gets all it's health back.

no, whenever it STOPS taking damage. just keep hitting it.

I hate when the lunar scavenger in the white place is just completely unkillable because of some healing item.

Only happened once with normal scavengers. But like the others said, scavengers scale pretty well. And well, makes sense to me. They steal items! They just like us but prettier

Yeah but considering some characters can barely survive without command artifact cause they scale so insanely bad and because o the RNG, i don't see how for example an acrid could rush to the scavenger in time before it's overloaded, without having too few items. And with how ridiculously few items even works on acrid because his skills and attacks interacts with nothing at all, i just cant see how it would even be possible. (since you'd have to open every chest on the map to have even descent damag and survivability, and that takes time)
