go look up how to loop the run I'm too lazy to explain and it's a bit confusing without pictures

The game is endless by default.
At stage 5, it says something about the teleporter "shifting to the moon", all you need to do is interact with the stones on the teleporter and not the teleporter itself. It will then say it shifts to the planet.

Yah the base game is endless, when you get to Sky Meadows (the purple map with the floating asteroids) go to the teleporter, go to the largest spike/prong, it will say something along the lines of "Switch teleporter" or something like that. After doing this the teleporter will start to move and resemble the normal red teleporters more. If you did it correctly than it will take you back to stage 1 maps with harder difficulty.

on sky meadows, interact with the things creating a circle around the teleporter. This will shift the destination to stage 1 again, making the game endless.
You can also do the same by entering a blue or gold portal, or by doing an artifact trial

Go to stage 5 and shift the portal to play endless.

This is exactly why the Stage 5 portal needs to be shifted by default. Newer players don't know.

The portal should have to be SHIFTED to go to Mithrix

I actually disagree with this. Newer players also don't know how obliterating works, and therefore would not be able to beat the game until they figured one of those 2 things out. It makes more sense for the game to be beatable until they look it up, then the game to be unbeatable

Looks like no one has mentioned that a newt shrine on Sky Meadows also allows you to loop. Underneath Sky Meadows is also a big teleporter hooked up to some tech, which you can also use to loop, which is nice because if you forgot to change the normal teleporter and didn't find a newt shrine, it's still an option that can't be deactivated.
