you have to touch the hit box in order to teleport
There are small black portals floating around the arena after Mithrix is defeated that look like black holes. Jump into them and you will be warped to an area on the far side of the map from the escape ship. Be sure to stack up on goat hoofs before the fight because once you get to the ship, there will be a sequence like the teleporter sequences, where you need to stay in a certain area until the counter reaches 100%
Thanks, I thought those were boo-boo spheres. I had killed Mithrix in like 0.2 seconds flat on his last phase and thought I was stuck because he died too fast or something.
Incompetent and cryptic design. Jump into the deadly looking things. The worst part about this game is the person making the levels. They either feel like repetitive reskins over and over, illogical platforming to make it "hard", or cryptic arena exits after surviving an obnoxious boss.
Yeah I definitely figured I was supposed to avoid them. It was only once I realized I couldn't leave that I figured I'd try jumping into them. They move pretty fast and are a bit high up though so it's not easy to jump into them and I tried until I failed.
I was the same, finished and didn't get out in time.
Got to the ship, stood around waiting for the animation, only to find out it was a Tele-y charge event, and having arrived w/ 40s remaining, there was no physical way to win.
There's literally no point in playing if you arrive with less than charge%/s time to spare, you cannot win at the point
First time I beat Mithrix, I did the same thing: tried to leave, couldn't, then came back, and tried shooting at the orb. This didn't work so I did the only logical thing left, jumped straight inside one and boom.
You can argue that learning about them is part of the game, same as learning about enemies' pattern etc. but that's a crappy thing to learn about straight after the hard part of beating the final boss...
Petition to remove the redundant "Defend the Ship" event that just feels bad if the above happens to you and you arrive without enough time.
Either remove the "Defend the Ship" event or at least speed up the charge time, like with the Focused Convergence item
I Would like to see the Defend the ship segment, but no escape timer personally. The escape timer doesn't really mean anything anymore due to the rework.
Yeah good point. The timer has no use being here, it's either completely useless to anyone who knows what you're supposed to do, and just a noob trap for those who get stuck for a reason or another, usually inexperience.
Honestly i'm not convinced about that last stage rework, i don't feel like it adds too much to it, but at least it's not empty i guess?
No, you can't. It's bad game design. They did everything possible wrong to make sure you would not be able to read it correctly.
