Steam Trading Card Support

Does anybody happen to know whether the developers plan to implement support for Steam trading cards for Risk of Rain 2? I know I'm not alone in thinking that it would be crying shame not to have badges, backgrounds, and emoticons for such a brilliant and beloved game. The original Risk of Rain features such support, so it would strike me as both odd and an oversight on Hopoo's behalf were this not to be the case, at some point in future, for this game too. I have my fingers firmly crossed that the final free content update, dropping today, will implement this feature.

just mix your emotes, I can make the ror2 golem

Emotes and wallpapers already exist for RoR2, you can buy them with Steam points, there are very few though.
And yeah we need trading cards so we can have a shiny badge.

Those are chat emotes, the kind recently added in the steam ui update. Everyone is talking about these kinds of emotes (the ones people actually like)
