Is double-rebar a good strategy?
You can hold Swap+rebar to rapidfire rebar, but not sure if it's more or less efficient than using other skills

its only good early on, but the nailgun scales better as you get more items
it may be also the best dps without items, idk..

Ya, I noticed it doesn't scale with attack speed at all - but it scales equally with everything else so it could work in multiplayer since you can give all the attack speed to allies.

Not sure if Alien Head reduces the cooldown of Rearm or not (or rather, increase the animation speed), if it does then Alien Head is the main item for this strat

Double rebar sounds like a pretty bad plan. Makes mul-t a whole lot less versatile. Also pretty sure alien head doesn't speed up animations. It only cuts ability cooldowns.

Rearm has a 0.5 second cooldown which is the lowest cooldowns can go. Alien head would therefore do nothing.

If you turn off the sound and you don't plan on looping then yes it's a better strategy. Nail gun can still be better if you pick up a bunch of bleed and/or shatterspleen tho.

Seriously tho trying to play with that while having the game sound effects on isn't worth it, my ears will never recover.

heh, I noticed - it's a very LOUD strategy

It is the highest damage output setup and scales well with most items excluding bleed and attack speed, and the long range lets you play safely which is especially valuable against the final boss. Just perhaps a bit more RNG reliant, since it introduces multiple useless items.

So, yes, it is good. If you can tolerate holding two buttons all the time, the noise it makes, and how boring it is compared to using his other options.

Discovered this strategy a couple of hours ago and yeah, works best with items scaling with high DPS like AtG or to some extent with crowbars, makes Runald and Kjaro proc as soon as available from any range (which is not too bad) and can be greatly exploited using a querk I've found a couple of days ago, I'll make a post about it.

The Rebar buncher provides better burst, but the base DPS of Rebar puncher puts it under the nailgun by about 240% damage, attack speed and proc items, which are more common than on hits, further widen this gap, to say its the highest damage output setup is silly, the nailgun is leagues better in damage, this is even if you took retool into account, Rebar puncher is 600% damage in one burst, Nail gun is 840% damage in one burst

The Rebar does bring ring procs and excellent burst, but for putting targets down quickly, odds are the nail gun will do far better unless its at medium-long distances.

I should rephrase then, what I meant was that it does the most damage consistently, since the nailgun requires you to be on top of things. It definitely puts out more damage on average against mobile and flying enemies, and Mithrix.

A problem is that it might be 'too' accurate, so when you are panic flopping around you aren't getting as much ambient spray in
