Now if you're just talking about third person shooters where you slay giant hordes of enemies on large maps then Serious Sam franchise would also be right up your alley.
If, instead, what you're after is a third person shooter with hundreds of onscreen enemies, brutal difficulty, progression where you become stupidly overpowered, and classes so different each of them feel like a different game then you should check out Earth Defense Force.

The latter two are pretty similar with respect to gameplay, but Immortal Redneck has more "persistent rewards", i.e., more Roguelite than Roguelike.
But I also guess they are not as unforgiving as RoR2, and they are all first person (If I remember correctly).
