unlocking characters on easy?

apparently you have to loop twice to unlock the sword guy, is this possible on easy mode? i cant quite make it there on normal mode (yet)

Yes. You can unlock anything on Drizzle that you can on Rainstorm unless it specifies a difficulty.

by loop twice you mean that you need to repeat 2 times the 4 levels? I didn't unlocked him just the sniper/archer and the robot.

Oh, also. You don't HAVE to loop, though it increases your chances: To unlock Mercenary, play until you see the message "A Celestial Orb has appeared". When you clear the teleporter event, a glowing portal will appear next to the teleporter. Enter the portal, walk to the end, and interact with the obelisk. It WILL kill you, but you will unlock Mercenary for future runs.

Fun fact: there is a way to get out of this area without dying, so if you have multiple players I believe you can get other people the cheevo and then continue the run, since one player continuing continues the run for everyone.

This is 100% possible, as I did it this way. Though do keep in mind, getting the portal for the Mercenary to appear is one thing, the parkour you have to do is another. So once you get in the specific portal, do take your time.

To unlock the mercenary you just have to be lucky by having a celestial portal spawn after you charge the teleporter.

Me and a friend played for about 10 hours nonstop and unlocked all characters the hardest one is the Artificer which you need 11 lunar coins for.

you can actually unlock Artificer with 10 coins if you get a random blue portal spawn. This happened to me and my friend was so mad cause he's only got 6 coins. =D

You don't need to loop to unlock any character. Mercenary is obtained by "purchasing" him in the lunar shop for 10 lunar coins.

Uh.. no? That gives you the artificer, Mercenary is unlocked through the celestial portal which appears after you loop
