mine exceed 5k ... literally can't interact with anything else
maybe the devs should try changing some syncing mechanics
Specs:
Intel i5-7600K @ 3.8GHz
Radeon RX 480
32GB RAM
512GB M.2 (which game has been moved onto)
Testing log:
Everything lowered to lowest settings (no fix)
Game elevated to Above Average (no fix)
Locked framerate at 30fps (no fix)
Moved to SSD (no fix)
Bugs:
Upon an asset spawning (whether it's an effect [sometimes], an item spawning or being picked up, or anything model-editing spawns), the game will either drop framerate or freeze completely for anywhere between half a second to three seconds.
Only appears to be on my brother's rig (as listed above, running Windows 10). Does not affect my build (1060 6gb, i5-6500, running Fedora 29 [and as such, am running RoR2 through Proton 4.2]) - the only differences I could think is that we have different graphics cards, so maybe there's a problem with AMD cards?
Please feel free to ask me any other questions and expand for any more details - we both enjoy Risk of Rain 2 and love it to bits but I'd rather he have a fair experience rather than stuttering every time he gains an item - as you can't pause when you're frozen, it's a huge handicap.
I thought the same as I am also running a AMD card
Specs:

I'm guessing the game is just poorly optimized for AMD graphics cards, the friend who gave me his free version of the game uses a GTX 1060 and is capable of playing the game and streaming it at the same time. I don't see why I wouldn't be able to at the very least play it at minimum settings.
I've tried emailing the developers from an email on their site, though now I'm wondering if that email is no longer active/used as I have not received any response.
Just tweeted them on my main Twitter
