bruh you basically just went into a really good Resterant, looked at the amazing food and just said "well, this place has some amazing food, too bad I hate the people who helped make this place a thing." Publishers publish a game, they make it. Worry about Hopoo, not gearbox. I'm quite sure that 90% of the people who play this game don't give a crap about gearbox.

Basically, their CEO Randy Pitchford supported Borderlands 3's exclusivity deal made by their publisher 2k. He has stated that Epic Games Store is the future because they made the Unreal Engine and believes they will continue to make advancements like it with reinvested store funds. Obviously the former upset a lot of fans and the latter furthered some of their anger to irrational levels.This has caused many rabid fans to assault and try to shame any games related to 2k or Gearbox, like OP did in this post.

If Gearbox or 2k were actually worth blanket hating they would try to force any game they published to be exclusive to Epic Stores, but they don't and so you shouldn't.

tldr:Borderlands 3 exclusivity, which was 2k, and Gearbox's CEO responded poorly to angry fans.

Not to mention he basically destroyed Aliens colonial marines, lied about all kinds of things regarding is development, and outsourced the entire thing.

And he might have even used the funds given to him for the game, to fund borderlands 3.

So ♥♥♥♥ gearbox, yes.


However, I love this game, and you should support these devs, they have passion in their game and time.

Randy couldn't suck that kind of passion out of a homeless man. even if he lent him his USB drive.
