Having an issue with fps and resolution
So I have a problem with the game being at 165hz which is my monitors refresh rate so the game is going in fast froward. Also I can't get the game to go in to 1440p at all. If anyone has any help that would be great.

Lock fps at 60 or just change refresh rate to 60hz, a heard u can use higher resolution than 1080p when u change values in cofig.

Sadly you'll have to use fullscreen in order to lock the game to 60 FPS.
Alternatively you can use a third-party program, like Rivatuner Statistics Server, to limit the game's FPS.

Lock the FPS where? In the game? Because I don't see that option at all. Having to do it on my monitor seems silly.

When I tries to use riva tuner my game crashed. I just use 60hz on nvidia control panel, on 144hz game runs way to fast.

Capping my Monitors FPS doesn't seem to stop it from going to 165hz. Jesus this is annoying.

Yes it is, just make your monitor work on 60hz then, u can do it in your graphics card control panel/

Well I'm on a laptop with 120hz and nvidia control painel does not allow me to change from 120hz. It's the only option available...

That's what I did, but for some reason the game is still picking up a 165hz signal.

You can try use nvidia inspector to cap fps or Dxtory to cap fps in game

RivaTuner for amd cards unless you can still do it through drivers.

Rivatuner can cap fps too.

I actually fixed it. In control panel I had it fps set to highest available under monitor.
