ULTRA HD RESOLUTION
1) Browse to Steam\userdata\XXXXXXXX\631510\remote
2) Open 'options.sav' with a text editor.
3) Edit Width and Height. eg, 4k = "width":3840,"height":2160
4) Save and play. Ingame resolution options should show 4K.

FRAME RATE FIX
Cap your monitor to 60hz or game to 60fps with the following tools.
Nvidia users - https://orbmu2k.de/tools/nvidia-inspector-tool
AMD users - http://www.guru3d.com/content-page/rivatuner.html

Cheers folks. Enjoy the game! :)

Did not had to use the 60 fps utility, but changing the resolution manually on the options.sav worked like a charm. This still works on March 2024, cheers!

Is this for all DMC games within the collection or just the first one.

Hi bro, my issue is the following: instead of having more than 60 fps I have 30 when playing on tv. When i play in my monitor this problem doesn't exist. They are both 1920x1080, 60hz
Sorry for bad english, im from Argentina xD

Unzip, run app, click green button on right hand side of driver number.
Set 'frame rate limiter' to 60fps globally or make profile/addgame.exe.

Let us know if you still need help, just linked to devs website.
Changed guide to English as well, thanks for suggestion Saftle.

do you have an english link for the nvidia inspector tool? all the text on how to use it to cap the monitor is in another language
Saftle Mar 14, 2018 @ 10:10pm
Please change the language of your guide. Anyone that has it set to "English" by default (so all users with an english Steam UI) do not see this guide when choosing any of the categories. The guide is only visible after switching the language.

Thanks for the guide. Very much appreciated.

@Dream that doesn't work, it's definitely preferred refresh rate setting that sorts it out.

I've got a 144hz monitor and the game was running way too fast. Simply turn on the vsync on Nvidia control panel for both 'dmclauncher' and 'dmc1' fixed the issue for me, the game is set at 60fps now.
