Not quite true. There are more Demon Horde map variants currently in playtesting, as well as DLC and some minor gameplay changes for the rest of the game.
There are no plans for any further large updates though, that much is true. There are no expectations for further Invasion maps, large modes, or any significant combat changes/reworks.
Only a skeleton crew (two devs) remains working on Mordhau content, and they're both relatively new to the team. Both were modders brought on contract to work remotely on Mordhau. The rest of the development team are working on Triternion's next game within their studio in Slovenia. Near all of those developers other than the lead dev (Marox) have had very little involvement in Mordhau, with only Marox remaining of the original release developers.
power tripping mods a story as old as time
Honestly, more Demon Horde maps would be amazing.
We don't know what the next game is, all we know is that they are working on one. We likely won't get information about it until it's closer to a beta phase.
You're talking to a moderator dude, not a developer. Your lack of learning and understanding destroyed gaming.
I cried reading this.
