But also the ability to scoot back and sideways, hold blocks, and use jabs any close combat nonsense. Back hits are definitely a thing I've seen but jabs and kicks usually deal with them pretty well. Additionally, characters are generally "tougher" than in Mordhau and have more chances for flight or fight. The only real superior "exploit" I have seen is 3rd person being waaaayyyy better than 1st person as unlike Mordhau you don't have to rely nearly as much on ms differences when it comes to being made into paste or not.
Chiv 2 in its first few weeks of release has done a lot, and to add to Ray's points it's exceeded my initial expectations. I don't expect C2 to ever have nearly as mechanically complex of a system as Mordhau does, and I don't think Banner is shooting for that either. You don't have to play 100+ hours just to be somewhat decent at the game. It's a lot more casual, and while currently quite clunky (the ice sliding sprints are particularly hilarious) has a lot of time to iron out its kinks into becoming the yin to Mordhau's yang in terms of system complexity and mastery versus other facets of the medieval combat simulators.
Mordhau: Your going to cry and sweat, but in the end have fun
Chivarly: Your going to have fun, more arcade like than mordhau.
I know it's going to be happening to mordhau, but

Tbh, I liked chiv2 map design, overall sounds, some animations/sounds on weapon interactions and how they interact and hitmarker existence(for some reason). And I kinda dislike everything else.
It really feels janky, but maybe it's just because it's beta, the game isn't polished enough yet.
