Yes here is the mod 'simple dismemberment' like I was saying above - https://www.nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcery/mods/1289
And btw the dev option in the book is up the top in the middle, it looks like a monkey face.
I believe you do. But, it is extremely worth it. You get access to like 10X more content than the base game currently offers. No slight intended to Blade and Sorcery, it's among best VR games you can get.
Nexus is 100% safe
Very much so. I have used Nexus Mods (including the mod manager, though you do not need that part if you don't want to use it) for approximately a year now without any issues. I highly recommend that you check out the mods for this game, as do numerous youtube channels that showcase them. It's highly worth it for increasing your replay value. I'm at like 108 in-game hours and counting, many thanks to new maps, weapons, and other things to mess around with.
The linked mod page for simple dismemberment lists it as compatible with The Outer Rim.
Nexus is safe but they do have an annoying account system and push their mod loader when the mods are literally so easy to install you just toss them in a folder.
The main problem I had with dismembership is that I am on the Quest, and doing an offscreen swing messes up the tracking and then I get a velocity that's not equal to what I am doing IRL, or the angle/delay messes up the intention. Hoping to improve this somehow if perhaps I get an index at some point.
And one other question, from what I saw I just need to make a folder labelled "MODS" and drag the files? Or just drag the mods to the streamdata file?
You drag the mod folder into "StreamingAssets" Make sure the mod folder isn't two folders deep,
otherwise the mod won't work.
