Hasbro owns D&D, this is a D&D game, QED.
Still, for pure nostalgia, I hope they do it. Even if the formation (by affiliation) is only a solid B team. i'd be okay with that.
I mean, I don't see why they'd be any more or less powerful than any other teams. There are tons of themed teams in this game. The D&D cartoon characters ain't special for any particular reason. And if they jacked it up, they'd probably do a rework for their very own season :P

Some of the first ebay DVD rips I bought for myself were DnD, Zelda and Mario, and the Gummy Bears, Tailspin etc. They were all VHS rips but totally worth my time, especially back then (early 2000s)
