Which SAO game has the most content?
I'm curious how much content is there in these games? How's the replayability? In general, how much playtime could you get?And would you say it's good overall? And which is better?

People say Hollow Realization is pretty rich content-wise. Out of the portable games (the earlier titles were released for the PSP and Vita, though most for the Vita), that's also considered the best.

Fatal Bullet is quite a different experience, that much I can tell you. It also looks the best if you don't count the upcoming one.

However, good overall? That's a pretty tough question cuz none of these games is particularly good. They all have prominent issues in part because they're licensed games with only so much effort put into them. If you end up liking any of them, you just have to live with the fact that they have problems and enjoy the parts that work.

Personally, I spent the most time with Fatal Bullet (a little more than 200h) and I'm not really done with it, not technically anyway. I didn't finish Hollow Realization yet, but I hear you can spend hundreds of hours with it as well. I prefer FB because not only does it have a proper sci-fi setting, but it also controls better. I also tried Hollow Fragment and Lost Song and I did not like how they control at all, especially with Hollow Fragment being originally a PSP game. It didn't age well.

Don't go rushing into Lycoris, though. There is a demo for it (on consoles anyway), but we don't know what problems it'll have that could potentially make it bad if compared to the other games. For instance, even though Fatal Bullet came after Hollow Realization, it does things wrong that were done well in HR, the MMO simulation and the open world being two. That could be because the team who worked on HR didn't have a chance to work on FB, but you never know. These games aren't particularly consistent even when the same studio works on them, HR and Hollow Fragment being a good example of that. HF might not have aged well, but it does some things better than HR, particularly when it comes to combat. The same studio is who's behind Lycoris, so that's something to keep in mind.

It's not rare for these games to go on sale, so if you want my opinion, wait until Hollow Realization gets a discount. It's not as cheap as HF or LS, but it's also not as expensive as FB and it's still a fun game.

I would recommend FB, however, if you're a fan of shooter-looters. FB might not be a great game and it sure has a lot of problems, but it's a good shooter-looter. The way they handled how you improve your weapons is probably a standout, giving a lot more freedom for no risk at all than a lot of looters out there (I'm thinking in particular of PSO2 and its crazy expensive affixing metas).

But for the love of all that's sacred, DO NOT get these games for multiplayer. I can't say anything about Lycoris yet, but wait until it's out and there's more information on multiplayer if you want it for that specifically. With FB we all expected a Borderlands kind of MP experience but instead, we got a pretty underwhelming boss and mini-dungeon rush online mode. Multiplayer is not great in this franchise, and it's usually there as a checkbox rather than a genuinely entertaining mode.

SAO games have more selling copies than GE if you count on total. While the other game is pretty good and most aspect better than SAO but anime games are just short lived, even for Soul games.
Best SAO is depending the genre. HR and HF have the most contents but it’s an turn base action-adventure RPG, hence it can be repetitive and lack of interest for most ppl who finish the story of that game. Mostly, half of the game contents I would say ppl did just that in general. For the reason, online coop often keep ppl from playing these games because you have someone with you for that. Anime games usually have budget problems not because they are bad, but it can be too specific for those who like anime in general.
The reason I mentioned title bundle games for this specific topic. Most of new games often an upgrade version of the older ones, not something completely new but they add more stories to them. There are many players across all platforms but not enough for one particular version of the game.
As the devs usually pick up games with a lot players and make more contents for them because of the fanbase. Likely, they can just do the important thing to keep the game active so you can get more return players back after they left a game. This particular has done for most MMOs, and there only two questions left:
1. Is a sequel game? If yes, more contents update? (Including fighting arcade and weekly contents) Progression and storyline?
2. Is a non sequel game? If yes, story base related or action adventure? Gameplay design?

Pretty much SAO games if you have to ranked base on fanbase, it would be those with more fan services online show off and collaboration in them. Fatal bullet so far get quite a lot of replay compare to other ones base on open ending of the story. Noticed that games with older released usually stop selling more if the new sequel is coming out right at that moment. Due to the reason PC can run higher quality graphics and customizable. Most ppl would pick up games that directly support on that system instead of a ported games to play as their daily basics. Only exclusive games are the exception for some JRPG titles and usually must-buy games. If you like anime games for specific reasons or interested, then you can go with the fanbase for the game. Otherwise, don’t go to the title games that you know nothing about or just because someone recommended as a game you should play. It’s pretty generic topic to discuss.

Of the games currently available the better ones would be HR and FB depending on the type of gameplay you want.

Lycoris may replace HR as the better Swords and fantasy game though but we would have to wait and see.

I have found FB less cringy in terms of story because you aren't constantly watching scenes where his harem get weak at the knees for him.

I really enjoy not being forced to be kirito like all the others. Heard lycoris is also returning to being kirito agai. Which is sad the CaC system was so much fun.
