Btw, quite refreshing to see this free update adding meaningful content and story after Code Vein's first DLC.
- I see new outfits for male/female. Hopefully, we can use them outside of this DLC.
- why did it take the (probably?) final update for the game to change the walls (and some other textures). All dungeons in this game pretty much looked like underground parking garages, with the exception being SBC Flugel and DLC4 dungeons, which were parking lots, but SURPRISE! With snow in it. Lol.
- is there anything useful we can get in this Abyss dungeon, which could be used in the original game?
- lemme guess, this dungeon isnt coop, right? I mean online coop.
- how does leveling and getting the gear from the start work? Probably like Kirito mode right?
- I see there will be voiced scenes and some kind of mini-intro for alicization lactosis (yea - that's on purpose)
Yea, this free update seems much much better. You had to pay 10 bucks for CV DLC. Oh well....
EDIT: checked out most of the tweets on that account, and got answers to nearly all questions. I wonder how good are those new golden guns.
I kinda wish they would've done something as interesting as the DotN loading screen, tho. It looks good. The color used on the new one isn'g bad, but it's soooo monochromatic.
Edit: I just saw the whole thread highlighting some points from the stream, and I got questions. If anyone knows enough Japanese to answer them, I'd be thankful 😁
1. They unveiled concept art for Zeliska, Kureha, and Itsuki irl. Any reason for that?
2. Is there a specific reason for them to showcase the game's timeline or is it just for the sake of placing the new update after DotN? I noticed the arrow above in the screenshot, and that made me wonder if this timeline is gonna continue in FB or if it means some of the plot points and character from FB will carry over to AL?
3. I guess this Hydra is an original character? Wtf? Does anyone have any clue or even theory regarding the relevant points of this story addition? Is this finally going to conclude FB and tie it to AL or will we have yet another anticlimatic cliffhanger? This Hydra and that timeline showcase made me wonder if they plan on continuing updating FB with paid DLC and free updates, which would be kind of a shocker. Even if AL is being developed by another studio, I can see Bandai just not wanting to support FB anymore because that makes sense financially.
4. Small thing, but anyone knows if the Switch demo is gonna be a short 1-2h demo or is it gonna be more like Disgaea 5's and DQ Builders 2 demos, which go on for well over 10h each? I notice that this Twitter account refers to the demo as a "free trial" version, which could imply it might be longer than regular demos. Or that could also be just lost in translation, which sounds more likely to me.
Probably as the new story progress, we'll get to see some visual just like those sleep over scenes but as IRL characters.
Either i know anything about this character but he remind me of Isaac Clarke from Dead Space. Seeing this game's still relevant and sometime reach to 1000 players,i think they won't let go of this game that fast yet, nothing that says this will be the last update so just put our hope up.

Actually, that screencap of Hydra could've come out straight from PSO2. Just when I thought this game couldn't remind me more of PSO2, this happens
I was honestly expecting this to be the last one considering Lycoris is just around the corner. They haven't even fixed a lot of the complaints people have about the game, such as accessory customization.
But now that I think about it, maybe they could have the overarching story jump from one game to the other like in the anime. I'm not sure how they'd make that cohesive for those who don't have Lycoris, but I'd love to see them try. I thought I was ready to let go of Fatal Bullet, but now I just want more content, especially if we get more chunky DLCs like DotN.
