and going into co-op and leeching off of a max level *which pretty much almost every single one of use will just let you do* but the fastest way to level is to just join a lobby with a lvl 300 and ask them to do behemoth which gives 7M exp per win

what i did was join a multiplayer lobby with a level 300, hope there are more level 300's and do the last easy coop mission

These two.

And by the way, I kind of understand why some of y'all newcomers get offended whenever we veterans mention leeching off of others, but IT'S FINE. It really is. We're cool with it. Some of us even offer to carry y'all because we know how tedious it is to farm levels. I hope you're not offended but in case you are, take a deep breath and understand that leeching off is part of Fatal Bullet's multiplayer culture. And literally no one complains about it (unless they don't know what they're doing and expect you to pull your weight, but that's another situation entirely).

But uhm... hold up.

So in the first playthrough. That can be a hassle. Honestly, I recommend you check strategies for the boss and pick some decent weapons with decent rolls. Then pay attention to its attack patterns and try and avoid them. Use skills that serve as a dodge if you're not good at dodging. Heck, use Shield Matrix. Put two ranks of it in your loadout if you have them. And for the love of all that's holy, rank up Human Fortress. That's an essential skill—not so much for the defense bonus, which is trash, but the fact that nothing can knock you back, which makes a huge difference.

I do remember that that boss gave me a hard time at first, but I took some time to regroup and improve my equipment and skills. It was a breeze once I was actually ready.

After that, you can stay in that playthrough if you want, but I'd recommend you jump straight into NG+. Rushing through NG+ (which might take less than 2h if you skip every cutscene as well as side content) on extreme is a good way to level up fast. You'll probably struggle at DLC1 if you play it on extreme, but the secret there is farming Grimodoom until you get its HMG Bravefire 4. If you get good rolls and improve them, you can go back to extreme and kill it fairly easily up until level 200-ish.

But also, always try to have good weapons with decent rolls.

Just remind me how the game was and now...

When the game first launch, it was hard af. And ppl had to find a way to level up by exploit exp from NPC enemies(and they took that out because of it). At level 225, pretty much only a few ppl play the new contents because the weapon balance was terrible at the time (it’s where stat aliment skills rise and the handgun glitch was founded). After the dlc3, everything got better and ppl can really find interest in the game. Most of the launch game was pretty much PvP broken which some ppl loved it when using handgun art with graviton and hyper awareness spam. It was sick at the time which later got nerf right after that. Then after a time, it comes to plot armor meta and ppl begin to play god mode with tactical roll and moonlight dash atk. Things change after they release the dlc4 and it’s why PvP become like a wasteland because of freeze shot skill and type z weapons.
For coop, it was pretty bad at first compared to how it is right now.

Instead of spending 1000 hours for doing all things in this game. Pretty much it only took ppl like 60 hours to complete the game. Pretty much every guides in this game are coming from playerbase. They don’t sort out solutions for you, and you have to find it for yourself. It pretty cold for me to play with ppl that ask you to do your job while never tell you anything about the game. Most tricks should have been openly for a long time now instead of recent updates. Ppl just don’t really tell you that much so it’s really depend on someone who nicely enough to help you with this game.
Just don’t take that as an offended because it only get worst...
