[SOLVED]Error messages on game startup.
I just bought the game and started it using my new clean installed pc. I don't know what went wrong and I am sure that a lot of people are having the same problem I am.

On starting the game from steam, 2 error messages appear. One of them says "Couldn't start SAOFB-Win64-Shipping.exe | SAOFB -culture=en | CreateProcess() returned 5"

The other error says "Game Security Violation (#0000000Dh)"

I don't know if these are crucial but the game does start. However another error appears upon entering the game saying "Failed to create IGameClient instance! Check that the game was run from the correct launcher. Online play may not be available."

Sure enough, my account was "partially restricted" so I can't do any PvP or co-op games. I tried launching it from whatever "Application" file that I see would launch the game, but the same error messages appear. Any ideas?

Finaly solved it.

So the cause was my RGBfusion running in the background (for those who don't know, its a software which changes the color of my RGB components in my PC), and APPARENTLY EAC found it as a potential "cheat" or as the damn thing put it: A Game Security Violation.

All I had to do was to end task and the game works just fine.

yeah EAC sucks, you can't even run ReShade over the game because EAC thinks it's a cheat thing lol

Christ. So now it's probably picking up SunsetScreen as a cheat engine as well. Problem is, I *need* it to make my screen warmer or else it has a blinding blue tone.

Thank you so much, devs. Way to ruin someone's mood.

Edit: No, that's not what's going on here. What error are you getting? I'm getting code 23. The game launches but as soon as I reach the title screen, my controller stops working with the game (still turned on, still connected, but it does nothing). I already verified the game files but everything was fine.

well if you wanna make your screen colour warmer, you could just using 'night light' function in windows settings. just go to
Settings>system>display
on display settings there's an "Night Light" Option, switch it on
you could also set which hour night light would activate

._. I'm aware of Windows' functionality. But it doesn't work properly. That's why I started using third-party applications. SunsetScreen actually has a lot more features than Windows' night mode will ever have.

Anyway, as I mentioned in the edit, that turned out not to be the problem.
