Any acc that reduces cooldown helps alot
So in other words, high tier sword skills and alot of cooldown reduction. CHECK.
Thanks mate for the info.
Sword: Vorpal Strike(chargeable by holding down it's skill key), sword barrier, sharp nail, Horizontal Square
Gun+Sword: Dual Orbital and the above skills. Replace Vorpal with Dual
Using sword barrier prevents you from using your gun during Sword+Gun mode
Star splash is only useful vs Giant slow moving enemies and you can use the dash key to cancel it
Breakdown:
Vorpal Strike and Dual Orbital are the same skill but with slight variations. It's a forward thrust no lock-on (even if you connect with an enemy, it still doesnt kill the momentum the skill gave so you're gonna be stuck floating in the air for a few seconds)
Sharp nail: skill starts when hotkey is pressed
Horizontal Square: Only triggers if you connect with an enemy
Swords ignore the damage reduction on Armored units such as the Gatekeeper and corpes sniffer
use the UFG to knockdown those pesky drones if you're maining sword
Sword arts are basicly the same on both skill sets and require a lock-on
But the sword skills on level 3 are really strong and thats it where you dmg should come from
Splendid information dud, thanks alot.
Another helpful thing is if you are playing with swords is bring Lisbeth with you( she has a lot of paralyze utility) and equip paralyze landmine(gadget) yourself also.
Paralyzing bosses is really useful in combination with the Sword Skill Star Splash flurry
Another thing is if all of your skills are on cooldown, do air attacks. Jump first, and then spam the attack button. It does WAY more damage, and ends on the third strike with a combo that does a ground slam that seems to also do a decent amount of stagger/knockback.
Oh, and I always do the dash dodge to back away as soon as my skill attack finishes. This prevents most larger enemies with melee knockbacks from using those on you. I use a skill, dodge back a step, then use the next skill, repeat.
Nani the ♥♥♥♥, how?
