P.S.: There's some way to start the game without EAC, but then you wont be able to go on co-op, the server dont allow you to connect without EAC running.
If it's just for money and exp, just join any co-op and get carried for a few runs in MT-02.
Also if you're low level (>250), disable your arfa-sys before doing so (there's an option somewhere to tell the game to not spawn your arafa-sys on co-op) and dont leave the spawning area too... this will make the life of those carrying you easier.
Ah this things. i had received this kind of player. i do a few runs on behemy and they will always come in and get killed, what's more annoying is that my lovely arfa-sys IQ were lowered to the worst since one of those player arfa-sys is using a sword and always get killed...... ^^""
i think having other player arfa-sys joined in coop is also affecting our AI in some way
i tried joining a co op game, it was a level 140 guy sitting in the lobby area and he didn't do anything for approx 15 min so i left.
Just try again from time to time while playing you will probably bump into a couple of parties.
Also I doubt a level 140 could have been of any help...
P.S.: Uh... you dont look hard enough....just went to do a few behemoths and I had one level 285 player who joined the party even though I spent less than 5 minutes online... :/
One thing y'all are forgetting to mention is that multiplayer in FB is made worse due to the lag. If you're not playing with someone who's in the same geographical region as you (and I mention geographical cuz although I live in Brazil and have Steam set to Brazil, the game itself says my region is NA), it's gonna be really difficult to be useful, even if that means staying out of the way so that you don't die constantly.
So for those looking to get some free experience on co-op, make sure whoever you're joining lives near enough (though idk what near enough is as me and my friend from the US had serious lag, but I imagine the same country or nearby states). Or at the very least find a corner that's safe and lay low until the boss is dead, which shouldn't take too long. The latter is likely the best way for low-levels to farm experience anyway as your damage will be negligible and you'll die in a single shot that you won't be able to react to quick enough.
