2. As much as you can give it, then let it spend it freely. At endgame and extreme difficulty, you have better chances at it buying something useful that way.
3. Roles are a touchy subject inn this game because while the game has them (and it goes as far as explaining what each is supposed to do), you're not forced to stick to anything. Whatever you role is doesn't matter that much because your skills and how you use them will be more important than what the role you have set is supposed to do. So focus on putting skills on your ArFA-sys that you think would benefit YOU. The NPCs are usually decent healers but quite terrible at everything else, though all of them will have trouble reviving you, ESPECIALLY if they have the AED shot set (this skill will make it so they literally just stand there if it's been used once before you died, cuz they wait for it to recharge instead of reviving you manually).
Overall, given how stupid the AI is, it's best to just git gud. They're also terrible with manual revives anyway, to the point where some times you might as well retrieve cuz either they'll take forever to revive you or they'll die trying.
I havnt unlocked AED shot yet, but ill atleast try it out.
I might restart just to change the arfa name, and just skip all that long dialog lol.
Ill deff give arfa all my gold and spend freely.
What about the set money aside thingy
i think i went with the highest amont and invested the highest amount
that good?
oh and is there skill respecs in this game?
i'm mostly increasing str and dex so i can equip one of the dlc swords, i will do speed after so i can get some sword skills.
As for respec, yes. There is an item which allows you to respec but it's mostly trivial if you don't have all 8 loadouts filled up (check the blue terminal in your room for loadouts). Blank loadouts will have blank stats, skill points—basically everything as though you used a respec item. You can customize your character through blank loadouts and overwrite others loadout entirely. So always keep at least one loadout blank cuz even when you think you have your character fully developed, there's always something to tweak.
2) dont bother with that before you get strong enough to handle defensive battles and co-op bosses....
3) Support is the best role for NPCs indeed. But there's some rules of thumb for support classes. You need them to cast buffs and heals as fast as possible, but those cast time will mostly depend on the animation/swapping speed of the weapon they use for that.
Launchers, miniguns and snipers are the slowest weapon in the game, and so the worse for that role.
For support it's better to limit yourself to handguns, shotguns, SMGs and eventually AR but that last one will already be slowing them down. Nothing bigger. Later you might limit yourself to only handguns and shotguns (mostly optical ones) to be able to make your arfa-sys dual handle them, for the faster reload animation, while keeping its stats focused on increasing buff tiers (INT) and survivability (VIT/AGI).
