How to spam skill efficiently?
I'd like to have smooth skill transition from 1st skill to 2nd skill. Does anyone know how it works?

I have 2 grenades on me for my gadget and they work just fine with one after another but with few skills like Dash Attack + Gunstinger doesn't connect.

Yes, I've tried waiting for the animation to end til I cast another one.

For some reason I thought I could cast the skill instantaneously if I stop moving but that's not the case. The factors seems RNG to me..

You need to press both aiming button and cast button at the same time. (It may be easier to use on the controller since you need to press 3 button instead of two)
Aiming + shift + skill buttons (do shortcut on keyboard also good)
Btw, do you use handgun weapon art? If yes then u can make the game go faster
(I recommend play this game with a controller since it’s designed to use skills using like God eaters and Soul games)

it's a gabe Oct 9, 2019 @ 12:56am
Nope. It just so happens that the UI is slow and on top of that, the animations don't end when they're supposed to, instead dragging for a brief moment until you can finally use another one. So just keep an eye out for that, cuz otherwise there's no way to use one skill immediately after another.

Yes, but first do you have a controller or keyboard and mouse?
You can do animation skipping without aiming assist and use aiming button at the same time while press skill buttons. It’s a glitch btw and mostly use for handgun quickshot, explosive shot (gun attack skills)
The other way around is using dash after a jump to skip the skill animation. (Mainly for stat aliment skills like poison and ignite or buffs)
For melee attack skills (including dash attack, sword skills and gun melee skills), they don’t connect but u can use combo like first skill then rolling, second skill rolling . If u jump up by skills, use similar skills

Hmm, I feel like contacting the devs about it..

I use keyboard and mouse to play the game.

This one is quite confusing so based on what I've understood, disable aim assist? (Z key by default) then cast a skill then right click (aim button) to cancel then cast another skill?

I don't understand which one could this be useful for? Who would cast a skill then jump then dash for what purpose?

From my experience, I believe I couldn't cast skills on the air through a jump.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I was able to replicate this and understood the concept. It was helpful but for the other statement, I tried many attempts but to no avail.

I did what you said here and tried many other methods but I'm confused still.

Where does Skill A and Skill B go to make a smooth transition?

[Skill A] then [Skill B + Zoom Aim]

[Skill A + Zoom Aim] then [Skill B]

[Skill A + Zoom Aim] then [Skill B + Zoom Aim]

what shift? as in the SHIFT key? or you meant the gadget/skill switch/shift thing.

I didn't get the 3 button part either..

No plans on getting it yet.

Handgun weapon arts can buy from Argo, then check the tutorial in options for how to use weapon arts. It’s a very helpful skill for doing coop which allow to the get immediate cooldown skills/gadgets to use like Hyper Awareness for instance (Press V + UFG button)

About the zoom glitch
If your keyboard is setting like this
Move Forward – W
Move Backward – S
Move Left – A
Move Right – D
Attack – Left Mouse Button
Aim – Right Mouse Button
Change/Equip Weapon – E
Change Movement – Shift
Crouch – Ctrl
Evade – F
Jump – Space
UFG – Mouse Wheel
Switch Quick Menu – TAB
Reload – R
Switch Aim – Q
Bullet Circle Mode – Z
Shift – V
Encouragement – 5
Quick Skills – 1, 2, 3, 4

Press Right mouse + V + 1,2,3,4 as the same time (change Quick skills and V to next to each other for easier to press both of them)

I would recommend you use a controller for this game and any similar titles like Dark Soul, God Eater or Code Vein, or fighting games if you want to have a good experience for patterns because they designed for console playing so both look pretty similar. It takes practice to do this as well. You can check videos for quickshot glitch to see how it’s working

I've got it working anyhow, thanks.

What does the Shift do? All I know is that it displays all the skill info but how does that relate to the word "Shift"

Check the button key name from your options menu. It has a name for it, that button allow you to use skills. It’s just how they named on the controller to keyboard mouse.

I'm using the default keyboard controls as you've provided. I also own a Steam Controller and have tried the game with it. I understand your statement that its best to play it on a controller but since its a shooter game, I'd stick with the mouse for aiming.

Now, if you say "that button allow you to use skills." then what's the difference between SHIFT and SWITCH QUICK MENU?

can't I just stick with 1 2 3 4 to just use skills? The SHIFT button doesn't seem to work with the mouse and keyboard setup aside from displaying info. I'm going off topic now but I believe you could explain this for me.

Even simpler and more efficient:
Get a gaming mouse with additionnal shortcuts, so you can have all your skills right under your right thumbs. If that gaming mouse also allow the creation of macros, you can turn weapon arts and UFG (and sword dash when it was still working :3) into single click shortcuts.
Myself I use a razer naga, but there's plenty of other brand that offer similar configurations.
