I originally bounced off this game, but tried again and am having a blast. I rebound the controller controls through steam interface (I'm disabled so i almost always buy games on steam if i am playing with controller).

The turbo/nitro boost system is timing based which i originally found annoying, but after rebinding the controls it makes it a lot of fun. you get boost from doing tricks and other activities. For people having issues, i'd recommend learning the nitro/boost system. That helps a lot and makes the game more fun.

It also looks better with Reshade and makes the tracks more visible (one of the biggest issues I have is not being able to see the tracks well. Another issue is there isn't a manual reset so if you go slightly off track and get stuck on an object you're screwed.
