Custom Songs Not Showing Up Anymore?

My custom songs suddenly don't show up after the latest update, have reinstalled everything, verified game files, ran the patch and launch .exe, but nothing seems to work. Is this a problem with the update or my troubleshooting?

You have to go to your beat saber folder, remove the plugins there and then redownload and reinstall the mod manager. Your songs will be back once you did that. Sabers and such stuff will probably be fixed too soon.

Did you try what I posted? Because it works flawless for me with the newly downloaded manager. It still says 1.9 on the github page, but the link actually changed. So I had to redownload even though I already had 1.9.

An easier way to do it; go to your library on Steam, right click Beatsaber in the "menu" list to the left. You'll see a dropdown menu, and you just choose "properties" > choose browse local files, then choose "local files" in the next window that pops up. Four options there, and you choose "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES". It'll clean up whatever extra files that doesn't function. Run it twice to be sure it gets rid of all that doesn't belong anymore. NOW go and download the latest version of "Beat Saber Mod manager" No need to place the file in a certain folder, it'll find BeatSaber by itself. So you just go ahead and doubleclick it from whereever it is located. Now all the custom songs should be back. :D Finish by double clicking the "patch and run" in the main folder.

I can get custom songs to show up ONLY on initial launch. as soon as i finish the song it shows me "$100 bills complete" which isn't the song i played and it doesn't have the custom list anymore.

verify integrity didn't work and i downloaded and installed the latest beat manager.

the online option is also off screen but that doesn't matter. custom list is.

To fix that issue Nahmaz, best thing to do is take out all your songs and put them into a folder on the desktop. Uninstall Beat Saber. Navigate to steamapp, common and delete the beat saber folder thats been left behind, then reinstal beat saber and then reinstall the song loader, leaderboard etc using the updated mod manager. https://github.com/Umbranoxio/BeatSaberModInstaller/releases

This will fix your issue, However DONT delete songs via the ingame menu cause this can cause a bug that makes other custom songs unplayable unless you either go through the tutorial or restart the game

Best thing to do is kep an eye on the Beat Saber modder discord. Mods are beaing updated to combat the latest update, So if you use custom avatars, sabers etc it will be the best place to grab the latest plugins https://discord.gg/GgQRMK

Yeesh... I think my best bet is to keep doing what I'm doing and relaunching the game for every song. Yeah it is a pain in the ass, but in the end it takes about an extra 30-ish seconds and i'm not doing this game for the scoreboard. And this all seems like a janky fix for a temporary and equally as janky problem. My lucks not on the good side so I don't trust things will go smoothly.

I'll give a few days and if there's no updates to the game or mods then I'll probably deal with all of that. I appreciate the help tho

I'm having the same problem now. Everything is there when I start, but once completing or quitting a song, all custom songs are vanished. If I fail, it "restarts" by starting "$100 bill", no matter what song I was initially playing. So, Patch and launch does NOT fix it. Not atm anyways.

I had that issue but fixed it. Start with a fresh BS install, you can keep your custom content like songs, sabers, avatars, etc, but delete everything in your Plugins folder. Then download and install the newest version of the song loader mod, making sure to run Patch & Launch. It should work.

Yeah basically the best bet is uninstalling, deleting everything in the folder and then doing the mod manager from the link above and just manually re-downlaoding all the songs, not even copying existing ones just doing it all fresh. nothing else worked for me. yes including running the patrcher and verifying files.

Guys, this is really important report you wrote. Can someone who is experiencing the behavior when after finishing the custom song it always show $100 Bills compress the whole install folder (except the full CustomSongs dir - just one song with which it can be reproduced is enough) and upload it somewhere so I can look at it? This is really important because some of those mods or something is causing that your scores are being uploaded to $100 Bills leaderboards and it looks like it is not our fault so we can't fix on our side. Thanks!

I have found that it is your outdated BeatSaberTweaks mod which is causing that every custom song will show $100 Bills in the result screen and upload your score to that leaderboard. So you need to update it (also with ProgressCounter mod which is also outdated).

The best way how to do it is to always DELETE your Plugins directory (located in your Beat Saber installation directory) after you have downloaded the Beat Saber update from Steam. And then wait for mods to be updated for that version by their authors and only after that install the updated mods again.
