Stop breaking mods
The only reason the game is selling well is because of custom songs and other mods. Just "officially" include the SongLoader and take mods compatibility into account when updating the game.

Do you seriously believe people would still play this game if there were only 10 songs in it?

that is really true, it will be bored after 2 hours of playing with just very limited songs

Judging by guitar hero, they only need 30 songs. Seriously though try to understand even a bit of how programming works before whining about their update breaking mods.

I know how programming works. Pretty sure they're doing breaking changes on purpose too, because the community came with a song editor way before they could do it. They could simply integrate the plugins (especially the songloader) and let the community thrive.

And at least 30 songs is a small bit of variety. 10 songs lasting between 1:30 and 2:30 is pretty short. Aced them after a couple hours, then had to move to custom songs.

No one would play Skyrim if mods weren't possible. Those guys have to understand that, and deal with it or it'll simply kill the game.

The only way for a game to avoid breaking mod support would be to not make changes at all to the code, even in games with official mod support. Every minecraft release breaks mods still.

For a game in the early stages of development still going through major changes mod support is going to break no matter what they do. And it is way to early to add in official mod support.

The devs have been very supportive of the modding community but they're not going to stop updating thier game just to avoid breaking mods. It's not even like the mods are permanently broken. You wait a day or two for updated mods to be released and you're good as new. So either get used to it or stop playing the game until it's out of Early Access and the major updates are over.

Hell even World of Warcraft updates break mods. It's just a part of changing the code in the game or just how the game works. Besides it's up to the mod makers to update their mods to work with the current version of the game not the devs. Besides the mods as we know them today are more like hacks thans Mods since Beat Saber never offically supported mods.

It wouldnt be possible for them to include the song loader officially for legal reasons, copyright is a pain and im sure they dont want to deal with all the dmca requests for content they dont control.
The breaking changes are to make modding easier. You should be happy that the development team is doing exactly what they are doing.

The developers aren't doing anything to intentionally break mods. Quite the opposite in fact. One of the community mappers, Purphoros, was even brought on to help map the new ost song, Angel Voices

I like your know-how of programming, and i'm sure that you know that this program has only been recently released. B/C of this, it is clearly necessary for developers to revise code that is sloppy, or simply won't work with a new mechanic. So, mods that run off of these lines of code may break, pushing the mod maker to FIX it.

Also, with 36 hours to show for it, I have played and replayed the same songs on different difficulties and HAVEN'T GOTTEN BORED.

"Pretty sure they're doing breaking changes on purpose too". Wow, Psychotic_Frog, you sound similar to those old people who wear tinfoil hats and say "birds aren't real, it's the gov." or "the Earth is flat"!

P.S.
You sound like the run-of-the-mill A**H***, so cool it and appreciate all of the work these developers are putting in for US!
