I love it when modding communities keep the love going when others take off the programming hat. :)
They are not, in fact devs actively encourage them in their personal Twitter posts. Mods breaking every update is nature of modding.
Although I have to say that I wish official maps editor comes sooner. Most people are buying Beat Saber for custom songs, they cannot relies on modders for too long.
The Devs do a good job but the sheer number of unofficial modders out there are the best resource for a sucessful game these days.
Bethesda figured that out long ago and in my opinion no game makes the point for unofficial mods being the life blood of a game at the moment than beat saber.
big thanks to the previous modsaber dev too, whatever his reasons to need to drop out of working on it, he gave us an awesome tool for a good while.
