Appreciating all the attention to older Valve titles lately. Would be even cooler to see some TLC for TF2.

RCEs are scary. I wonder if TF2 has any actively being exploited.

It might be, although nothing as big as the bot crisis. I honestly would be surprised if a 2007 game that hasn't been updated in years with leaked source code wan's being RCEd. Hackers also might know a way to, but are just more wary of RCEing TF2 because they know Valve is very aware of the TF2 crisis, so they know if something more serious like RCE happened to tens of thousands of people on such a popular game they might be in legal trouble.

RCEs are a lot easier to solve (especially when someone else gives you the solution) and that lead up to TF2 being the most secure of all the Source games, even compared to CS:GO when it was still up and had exploit patches forward ported to it from TF2.

As a bit of a side note, I think certain people from the #FixTF2 movement (and/or just shouting "FIX TF2!!") are being a bit obnoxious about.. "spreading awareness"(?), especially here as well, I feel like it's doing more harm than good, considering how shortsighted, irrational, and ignorant a decent chunk of them are.
