Portal 2

Is it even possible to finish portal 2 without googling?
For first-time players of course, there's like 5 puzzles that took me 1 hour each to solve, and there's 2 puzzles that i spent 3 days and had to finally give up on

Yes it is possible. Some people can figure out puzzles quite easily whilst others take time.

How do you think the people who made the walkthroughs did it? I live for that "Eureka" moment, so consulting a walkthrough is just something I can never bring myself to do.

U need to be 5Head

Yes, but some of them are much harder than the others, and like you said took a long time to figure out.

Everybody has different stress levels.

Imo, they're not fun if they're too difficult. But that's just me. Your mileage may vary.

It seems like logic puzzles aren't your thing. And that's ok. Everyone's brains work differently.

are they worth playing? don't wanna waste my time if they are not as exciting as the main singleplayer play-through because i generally do not trust community

Worth playing? Absolutely. Pick anything from the most popular list and you'll see why.
After a while you'll get the feel for who's maps are easy and not.

Totally agree.

No offense but the initial question is kinda stupid. It's ok to struggle with Portal's game mechanics since it's some of the most innovative twists in gaming history, yet Portal does an extremely good job in explaining the player how everything works. In terms of difficulty, the campaign is NOTHING compared to some workshop maps. It's a very well designed and fair puzzle game, it's just a very uncommon puzzle mechanic as well.
If you (Z) have problems getting used to it, it may in fact be not your kind of game, but if you see progress some day you will also see the endless possibilities the workshop unfolds.

My brother and I beat both campaigns when the game first launched and we didn't even have an internet connection at the time. You'll figure it out.

technical things and too much thinking sort of overdoes it for me most of the time, i prefer to be simple about these things. That stated, i didn't find too much challenge in the puzzles, they are often easily deceptive.

having played portal reloaded, that wasn't that difficult either, it's about accepting in simple terms what you can and can't do and simply work around it. again i took my time on that and completed it in 6 hours.
