Doug Rattman rants

[Hi Players]

So I have watched many and I mean many different videos that talk about the famous but mysterious 'Doug Rattman' and his rants behind the wall of his final den. While playing the game on steam I was repeating the game for myself and entered the den on the level 6 of chapter two ( The level where to enter the den you have to fling through the portal on the jump pad and you can also use a disc to reveal an image of the portal cube on the moon ) , In the end is one of the madman's drawings stating 'Smooth jazz fails' and 'nothing is real' with pictures of the companion cube, hands and music notes. While standing next to it I heard the rants of the madman which I believe are only or are meant to be only heard in the final den.

Now I am not so sure just of yet if the rants can be heard in more than one of the dens but while watching these videos it seems only the last den is meant to play the music file of the rants. I also personally do not believe this is a gltich after closing and re-opening the game multiple times and retrying the level multiple times to.

If someone can confirm this of happening or if I am missing out on something please respond. I am very interested as I am into the theories of 'Doug Rattman' and would like to know if I have found something that I was not yet alerted of.

We can't hear him everywhere, but in some places you can. Also, in the soundtrack of these dens (called Ghost of Rattman) you can hear his voice... so anywhere you hear that song, you'll hear him too, because it's PART of the song.

After watching this, I wondered if Rattman ended up on the moon (Or at least his companion cube did). What do you think? I personally believe it is possable, after all it has been proven that portals do work on the moon. Also, the bed from which you wake up in in Portal 1, has oxygen tanks attached to it. In portal 2, the bed is missing.

In the " Lab Rat" Comic it shows Rattman being shot by turrets, before actually dieing. What if he put himself on the life supports (Which Rattman put Chell on to save her life), and some how ended up on the moon (Or at least his companion cube did? Any thoughts?
