Portal gun texture should be original.
Added custom crosshair and HD portal textures. If you don't want them I can remove them and reupload the file.
I was expecting something like Mel's handmodel at least.
So, whoever struggles with finding or installing this mod, you don't miss much in my opinion.
btw I do not have a dlc3 folder. It worked with dlc1 as well.
The custom crosshair is a nice refreshment, but I'm afraid I can't get used to it after many years of playing with the familiar one. Which is absolutely sufficient.
What I really love is the HD Portals. I know it might tactically be the wrong way after nagging about all the other content ;-) - but is it possible to extract the HD Portals to another file, so they can be used independently without changing anything about the portal gun?
(I'm already using a custom skin)
Don't put it into dlc1 folder, create portal2_dlc3 one. Dlc1 folder already include that file (with its own content) and thus you'll lose it. Besides it will be replaced by the original file if you verify integrity of the game files.
I'm afraid BEE2.4, which I wanted to start experimenting with, overwrites the dlc3 folder file(s).
Any ideas?
You do realise you can create a portal2_dlc4 folder and more? That works also. I have so much custom content I use my DLC folders have gone up to portal2_dlc14
Thanks again :-)
