You litterally can't miss Potato glados, you need to pick her up to trigger a button hidden underneath her.

I'm pretty sure you have to go abit futher and you will find her

In that case you didn't finish the game. There is absolutely no way to finish the game without picking up Glados.

Impossible, you would be half way through the game. It's straight up impossible to proceed to the first level using the orange gel without picking up her up.
