Also, please remember that if you bring your hand close to the Guardian and clench your fist, you should be able to "force pull" an item beyond this area.

In the left image (the way the game currently works), the game puts my position (the orange figure) in the middle of the guardian zone. there's no enemies or anything behind me, and ahead of me, a gun (grey) is resting on a table (blue) and a bad guy (red) is out of reach. I can't physically reach for the gun without risking going outside my guardian, and I have to wait for the bad guy to come near me, and possibly shoot me, before I can hit him with melee. In short, half of my guardian zone is wasted and I am limited in options.
In the second image, I've adjusted the position with a proposed "re-centering". Now the gun is reachable as well as the badguy, and I don't have to worry about behind me or worry about my arms going wide when I do dual-gun antics.
I hope this helps!
That's cool, thank you! However, would it be possible for you to at least make a screenshot of this level you mean so that I would make sure I know which one it is and set this whole stage in my mind? I do see what you mean, the thing is - we seem not to be able to replicate the issue so I'm just trying wrap my head around it.

--I will try again and use the "force pull." I respect how minimalist your team has kept the tutorial. But this seems like something that would be really good to communicate in-game.
May I also suggest some kind of option where the safe play / guardian area can be toggled to always visible? Another issue that I am having is that the boundary graphic isn't showing up until I am just about to plunge my face / hand through it. I'd trade some immersion-breaking for safety in this case.
Good luck - SHVR is a great game from what I've played so far. Hopeful you'll find some fixes.
Hey Bryan,
Not sure on what headset you play on, but I am able to enable the guardian wall to stay on (just the floor border not the full wall) at all times. It has really helped with keeping me from hitting objects/walls.
I can't remember where exactly, but there was a toggle switch to enable it always active.
Or as someone mentioned "Beat saber allows you to re-center your space by adjusting X and Y values"
