Co-Op Players - Voice or Type?
I usually run solo but this game looks like a nice small team co-op might be nice. What do most of the co-opers do for communication. Does everyone use voice now or do people still type messages.

If you do use voice is there something special you need to do? Special log in or voice software etc. I did just order a Sennhiaser Game One with a mic but I did not know if you can just plug it in and it works, or if there are extra steps and downloads.

Any good person that is willing to write out any needed steps (or give a link to info) and explain it like I am a 2 year old, will be greatly appreciated.

NOTE: I am actually 4 but I am behind the times and solo play never needs this stuff.

The classic way of communicating, "jumping/teabag around like an idiot", you can look for guide in Google but it's still decoding

Joke aside
Most game support voice chat which can be set to "toggle" or "on press" in game setting. And that's it just press the voice chat button and scream into the mic
Same goes for chat box which again is binding to a button, you just need to press that key to bring it up. Whether they bind it to what key is idk, gotta wait till it out
Alternatively they use discord if they want to join a guild/community

One guy actually called me through steam friends list once.... How old does your voice sound?

Teamspeak is old and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Discord is 10x better. Do not call people kids just because they use Discord.

Last multi player I played was Assault and Capture The Flag for Unreal Tournament when it was first released. All there basically was was type chat and that was fine. In fact it was nice.

Half the time you would play you would have some 12 year old who just learned a new curse word and would think that was the coolest thing to repeat that you got so sick of the nonsense you just left.

This game looks like a nice set up for a small squad team and jumping in and giving a hand to peeps that ask could be nice. Thanks, plug a play for the headset and mic will be nice.

Do you need to have Discord or Teamspeak or will the game support voice without any of that?

Used TS back in the day and now i use Disc.

If only for its simple system (no need for a server)
It ability to store infomation to a group AND have channels with sub channels.

TS was good, disc is just a better service for me.

Discord is slowly becoming the norm for VoIP. Not only for players, but developers and other group types. If you want my advice? Download it, it's free. You may as well learn how to use it (it's not too bad to learn), because then you'll have access to any official/unofficial game channel (also free) and on your servers (also free) you can invite/kick at will, with almost anyone that plays an online game (seriously, it's about as wide spread as facebook).

How does it work. Do you have to log into Discord or whatever before you start the game. Then start the game from Discord? How does it work.

Discord = free
Easy to setup a server and use + able to have multiple servers.
Easy to get a music bot for the discord + plenty other bots.
You can post videos and pictures which show up properly in discord.
Discord shows what games people are playing.
Did i mention discord was free?
