Arris Dome Sealed Door Password

The Arris Dome contains a sealed door. There is a panel missing unless you input the correct password. I cannot enter the right password. I've tried L-A-R-A, L+R+A, A-Y-B.

I'm using a controller, so I'm sure I'm hitting the right keys but it is not triggering the panel to appear. Heck, the console doesn't even respond every time I click A after being able to move again.

Help is greatly appreciated.

It's the same way as you got in the first time if you are using an xbox controller you press A then A, Y, B it took me 30 minutes to figure out so I figured I'd share since theres was literally no answer on the internet.

Just be aware there is another password thing later in the game. Without ruining it too much with spoilers, it is timed, so make sure you know what to put in. Just remember the password is different on this version versus the SNES version.

OP if you havent reached this part already, make sure you have a separate save file before you go into the dessert sandpit to restore the ancient forest or whatever.

No spoilers, but there is a game changing moment that is a one shot chance so make sure you have a save file prior.

If anyone is still stuck on this, you need to press all three at the same time. Its confusing because on the SNES version you hold 2 down and then press the third. For some reason on this version that is not the case. Just keep jamming the three together, you might hear a ding sound but nothing, just keep pressing those 3 until it works, it should eventually trigger. If you are not sure which buttons you have bound to A, Y, B, you can go to the settings and check to make sure you are hitting the right button. But its the interact, cancel, and inventory buttons.

played this on Steam Deck in 2025 and I had to press A, wait for the confirmation sound to play and then press and hold A+Y+B, all three together at the same time.
