Just go emulate the game. You won't get any good real native ports any time soon.

I got this on switch also, and just beat it. I would love to see this come to steam. Why is it that square-enix always does this? They drop one game from one series, then they just forget about the rest of the series of the game? Take chrono trigger for example, been waiting for a release of chrono cross for some time...
Also its harder to pirate on consoles atm.
PlayStation Store is 30% (includes licensing fee). I don't know about 1st party, but this game is 3th party
It's exactly like Steam, Xbox, Nintendo and GOG.
Only EGS is 12%, but I guess you know how terrible that store is.
Not really, and not necessary. About SO1R, it's perfectly playable on the Nintendo Switch emulator called Yuzu. It's playable also on modded Switch. Just the PS4 is a little bit difficult right now.
So, it's better if they release the game on Steam now before it's too late.
And I said it was harder which it is. Requiring an emulator is already a step more than just hacking an exe to work for free. Not to mention how hard emulators will run your CPU.
Basically I stand by what I said
