Star ocean 5 might come to steam

If people are going to avoid SO4 due to duenvo then they'll probably forget about SO5 and abandon PC gaming just like Namco is conisdering doing due to pc gamers backlash against duenvo that Namco has been using in their recent games.

Screw so5, I want so3. Loved the one on ps2, had some of my fave characters in the series, one of the better star ocean stories imo, that mind screw in it was extremly well done as usually I can predict how a rpg's story is going to go, and that came out of no where and actually surprized me which rarely happens like ever with a rpg.

I'm a huge long time fan of the series. Give us SO3 (which I already own on PS2 and PS4), forget about SO5, which is disaster (I have it as well). I want to have Nel, Maria and Cliff on PC

Sounds intriguing somewhat. I might get SO4 on sale, but I'm not as big a fan of the series as I was years ago. Still, on PC and on sale, I could see getting it.

I also agree with the interest others have expressed toward SO3. Really, SO1 and SO2 could use a "SO Legacy" treatment or whatever. SOL may have a negative connotation, though... heh.

If you expected a good SO game after SO4, you are SOL. No.... this sounds about right :) I see nothing wrong wtih that assessment.

They sort of forgot everything that made a Star Ocean game great when they decided to revive the franchise with SO5. That may well have killed it :(
