any dlc ? updates ? more heroes ?
This game appears to have the same issue as Valkyria Chronicles has - for a tactics fan like me, I love to take over the entire map before finally taking down the bad guy, but both in Valkyria Chronicles and WarGroove, this can be circumvented and shortens the gameplay as a result.
The ability to take all the structures and THEN eliminate the Commander in as short of a time as possible is heavily disincentivized by the game granting you lower ranks for completing missions, because the rank you receive is sadly ONLY based on the number of turns you take, and has nothing to do with something like 'complete elimination of enemy units and structures on the map', which is my biggest gripe with this game. Why oh why do you guys, developers in general, do that to such beloved tactics games? :(
I wanted to buy this game in a flash, the moment I saw it, but after researching it a bit, I am let down by this aspect and have to hold off until gameplay-improving adjustmets are made. The very least of which you could make is offer a selection between how the Campaign Ranks are determined, e.g. just number of turns or a more complex option that includes unit & structure elimination, plus even more variables, such as the health of your remaining units, how many unit groups died etc. Limiting everything down to just the # of turns is so uninspiring and disappointing.
You have to beat it once by clicking verify. Quickest way at the moment I think is just to move commanders to each other, by cart/balloon/boat etc and just make them fight.
What a bounch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, sad to see that you didn't learn how to treat customers after the starbound nazi forum period
bye chucklefish
Awesome! Thanks looking forward to it. I'm more then happy to provide Feedback to an"unofficial" and "unsupported" Linux-Build.
It's announced, and on the "coming soon" list there, but I *REALLY* wish they had a date so I could spend that $20 I have in my wallet on something else if it's not actually "soon" when it arrives where I'll be buying my copy.
