Enemies losing "sight" in battle
This REALLY annoys me now. Im playing as mage and i start attacking as soon as monsters get hit. Sometimes i stay, sometimes i get closer. BUT even the enemies coming to me and standing right in front of me, if i get back a few steps "too far" they loose interest, get the red/yellow eye above their head, getting instant full hp and walking back to their initially position. This is ridicolous and makes a ranged char pretty useless.

Never seen enemies losing aggro while they attack me and/or being right in front of me...

Poster is right. Playing as a mage, if you walk into a room of mobs, you can't back out to put some space between you and the mobs. The room will just reset. Mob aggro range is poorly implemented.

Weird, never happened to me at all but i'm not playing as a mage yet still only bombs / guns

If you dodge a lot, which you have to do on higher difficulty, this become a frequent enough annoyance.

They have health pots too. Isn't that fair?

Yeah. Someone in Spiders thought it was genius idea to make deaggro range at around 10m from fight start area. Because you know, GreedFall is your typical MMORPG

Some of the aggro ranges in this game are really bad. I just gave up on a fight with one of the tree creatures because, even standing right beside the spot where it appeared, I was somehow losing aggro and it would reset every time I knocked its armor down.

Same thing was in the Technomancer. This and the fact that we could not open doors in combat made me almost not finish that game.

Yeah, I've noticed this as lot as well - some enemies will rush / charge you, you'll dodge out the way and they will lose sight of you.

OK, maybe technically they aren't looking at you any more..but have they genuinely forgotten that I was just blasting them in the face with magic not two seconds ago and that they are still close enough to smell my armpits??

This is legitimately my only complaint with the combat - I see lots of people saying the combat isn't good, but I quite like it...other than...

To avid this just instigate the fight colder to teh area the enemy is tether to. You get to far they reset. This way kiting exploits are stopped, however your experience is the down side to this type of mechanic.

honestly, i prefer this then being spotted by a superior AI. I admit, it could be better
