What is "Miracle in Progress"?

One of the new doctor talents, the final skill in medic, says you're immune to "Miracle in Progress". What exactly is miracle in progress?

Edit: Upon further inspection, I think I get how it works. The description isn't great, what the talent does is give people close to you a buff called miracle in progress, which prevents them from dying long as you stay close to them. They can still take damage and go unconscious, but will stay alive with a single point of health left. If you leave them, they'll die within a few seconds.
